Murray R. Young was called to the Bar is 1973 after graduating from Queen’s University Law School. For many years, Murray practised law on Merivale Road with the law firm of Sterling & Young. As of 2000, Murray joined Anders, Young, Strong & Jonah, also located on Merivale Road. His areas of practice focussed primarily on real estate and wills and estates.

Murray retired from the practice of law in 2007.
